Technologies for Sustainability 2026
On 21 October 2026, MBY Consultants brought the 4th edition of the Technologies for Sustainability Roundtable for Entrepreneurs and Investors to Aberdeen, in partnership with The FuturED Institute and IGTCA. It was the first time the event had been held outside London.
Thank you to all the panellists and participants who joined us for the IV Technologies for Sustainability Roundtable at Maryculter House on the 21st October 2026. The value of the day came from the experience you shared, the questions you raised and your willingness to contribute openly to the discussions.
Bringing the Roundtable to Aberdeen was about giving businesses in our industrial regions a stronger voice in the decisions that will shape their future. Our discussions connected regional capability with wider opportunities in energy, maritime industries and international trade. Central to those conversations was the role of SMEs, and the commercial conditions that allow them to invest in people, equipment and new technologies with confidence.
We are grateful to our fellow organisers, IGTCA and FuturED, and to everyone whose support helped bring the day together. Our special thanks go to H.E. Guido J. Martinelli III, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama to the United Kingdom, for his participation in the Roundtable. We greatly valued the perspective the Ambassador brought to our discussions and look forward to strengthening the links between Aberdeen and Panama, exploring opportunities for collaboration across energy, maritime industries and international trade.
