Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland cannot be an afterthought in the UK’s industrial future.

That is why we are proud to bring the 4th edition of the Technologies for Sustainability Roundtable for Entrepreneurs and Investors to Aberdeen on 21 October 2026, in partnership with The FuturED Institute and IGTCA.

The previous three editions of this roundtable were successfully held in London by The FuturED Institute and IGTCA. This is the first time the event is held outside London, and for us it was important to bring it to Aberdeen.

Since founding MBY, we have been clear that Aberdeen is not simply a “transition region”. It is home to the industrial, engineering, commercial and delivery capability the UK needs for energy security, sustainability, technology, nuclear, defence and infrastructure.

Bringing this roundtable to Aberdeen is part of that belief in action. We said the North East has a national role to play, now we are helping bring the conversation here.
