Technologies for Sustainability - Aberdeen Entrepreneurs and Investors Roundtable
Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland cannot be an afterthought in the UK’s industrial future.
That is why MBY Consultants is proud to bring the 4th edition of the Technologies for Sustainability Roundtable to Aberdeen on 21 October 2026, in partnership with The FuturED Institute and IGTCA.
The previous three editions of this roundtable were successfully held in London by The FuturED Institute and IGTCA.
This is the first time the event is being held outside London, and it was important for us to bring it to Aberdeen.
Since founding MBY, we have been clear that Aberdeen is not simply a “transition region”. It is home to the industrial, engineering, commercial and delivery capability the UK needs for energy security, sustainability, technology, nuclear, defence and infrastructure.
Bringing this roundtable to Aberdeen is part of that belief in action. We said the North East has a national role to play. Now we are helping bring the conversation here.

MBY Consultants attended the All-Energy Exhibition & Conference in Glasgow, the UK’s largest gathering focused on renewable and low-carbon energy. The event brought together industry leaders, policymakers and supply chain organisations to discuss the delivery of large-scale energy infrastructure and the challenges of the energy transition.

MBY Consultants attended the Nuclear Industry Association event in Edinburgh and sponsored the evening dinner organised by the Nuclear Institute Scotland Branch, contributing to discussions on delivery capability across the nuclear sector.

MBY Consultants attended Nuclear 2025 at the QEII Conference Centre in London and the evening dinner organised by the Nuclear Institute , one of the UK’s leading annual conferences for the civil nuclear sector. The event brought together government, regulators and industry leaders to discuss developments across the UK nuclear programme, including sector growth, regulation, financing and decommissioning.
